Pre-Contact to Treaty 7
Our region is Blackfoot territory since time immemorial. Over the centuries, it also becomes home to the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Iyarhe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis.

Settlers and Incorporations
Eupropean Settlers arrived in the region around 1910 and incorporated as Forest Lawn on July 4, 1934. In 1935 we amalgamated with Albert Park.
Annexed By the City of Calgary
Over the years, our population swelled, attracting both residents and industries and became apart of the City of Calgary.
To support the interests of our residents and community members, the Forest Lawn Community Association was established.
